I understand your comment, but come on....

For the almost past year I've been watching this board (how long has it been on? probably longer) this is the first real outbreak of true deviation from topic.

The people here are some of the most enthusiastic, dedicated marque people I've ever met, even if not so in person. Questioning their enthusiasm is like wondering if the pope secretly wears a yamaka and takes rosh hashanah off.

Lighten up. This is a board for 02-related matters, and the celebration of an all-too outstanding design. If you'd hang around long enough, or maybe pay a bit more attention, you'd realize that. Most people who post aren't like the Gordini or Cortina guys in that our cars are a little bit more downmarket, self-maintained/upgraded, and we are a bit more apt to be a tad more direct.

I hope this thread ends here. It's not only a waste of bandwidth, but it's ridiculous. You want shallow, un-enthusiastic banter? Check out the M3 or Z board. This kind of petty nonsense I can do without. It's the first time I've seen the board stray for more than two-screenfuls from the 02 topics of choice.

Thank you. I apologize myself for the waste of bandwidth, but I felt it needed to be said. Please direct all comments to me, the board doesn't need this.
