In Reply to: Has Anyone Used Wurth Alu-Zinc To Inhibit Rust? posted by David on September 06, 1999 at 19:50:49:
: My '75 has surface rust under the spare tire. I cleaned it up, and am ready to apply a rust inhibitor. I have a can of Wurth Alu-Zinc, and was wondering if this was a good option, or does someone have a better off-the-shelf product?
POR 15 (most auto paint stores) or Corroless or OxiSolve(Eastwood. Eastwood's Corroless would work well in a trunk, and can be painted. I have used POR 15 (black or clear) with excellent results. It can be painted as well.
