My friend and I have partnered on two cars with the vague goal of building a club racer. The second car is a 72 non TII. When we got it to fire it had no oil pressure (yes we tried changing to a known good pressure switch). We have pulled the engine and dissasembled it and so far cannot find any reason for the lack of pressure. Anybody have any ideas? Also could anybody recomend a good shop to check and rework the head in the SF Bay Area and the same question for balancing?
The head off the car is marked "121T" with a "75" so we assume it is a replacement head off a later car. It also has a distributor P/N 231 180 008. It appears to have a vacume advance but is this the correct number for a TII distributor?
