That really blows!! Usually the stain will come right off with a decent cleaner wax. I would avoid the compound for now and work with Zymol HD Cleanse this will not harm the paint. You can work the stain hard with this. If this fails go to your trusted body shop and talk to the wheel man. He will probably be able to buff it out. I once got some monster seagull shit on the hood of my Mercedes it etched the paint so bad I thought I would have to get the hood repainted. But my wheel man buffed it out and I couldn't believe the results.

: I discovered this morning that some gas has leaked out under the gas cap and onto my nice Chamonix (white) paint job, turning it into a piss yellow color. It had probably been there for at least 24 hours before I noticed it..

: I tried soap and compound quickly this morning with no luck - does anyone have any ideas, or am I screwed..
