Fellow '02 pilots...
I've started to notice on shifting that my tach is showing wild swings and it sure isn't reflecting the actual engine rpm. What is going on? Do I have a dried out cable that is developing a twist under load that is then released on shifting, thereby causing these wild swings up to the redline? Anybody experienced such a phenomenon? And yes, I REALLY am lifting on the gas when I shift and the engine isn't revving that high!
