: You may have seen my post from last week, but I was discouraged to see not a one while in the Munich area a few weeks ago. Glad to hear you're keeping the Germans reminded of the finest auto they've ever engineered.

: Loved the autobahn, but sometimes had the shite scared out of me when approaching a slow-moving truck during the first time out. The difference in speed is amazing, especially given only two lanes. It took only a few shreeks from my wife to realize I should stay in the left lane at most times when going over 100mph, while constantly checking the rear view mirror for those travelling over 120.

: Happy motoring over there.

: James Beach (a.k.a. Herr Strand)
: 1976 '02 Chamonix

75-78 the orange car and I spent some time on the A bahn. usually crusing about 190K (just under 120mph) but the big boys(aka turbo Posche , 9111's and a few prancing horses) were always out. but the slow mercedes hated me.Obersalzburg Munchen is a nice run.
I lusted after a faster big six but now I am happy with the touring and her 6 brothers in the front yard.
