: I believe I found a way out of the dreaded emissions testing. My 76 will be exempt in 2001 in Ohio, which does me no good for this years smog test. I found on the net however that collectors cars are exempt! I called the BMV and confirmed that the 2002 is on the list for application of collectors plates, for 5.00 more than regular registration. The car has to be an "extra vehicle". Does anyone know the mileage restriction for a collectors car? As with most of us, I plan to only drive in the summer, so I should be able to stay under 3000 miles or so. If this will work, I have plenty of time to get my carb runnin nice w/o being distracted with emissions. (I'll be drivin so little that I shouldn't have to be tested anyway!!)

: 76 2002....collector car! yeah baby!

Here in Oregon with Safeco Insurance collector car mileage is 2,500 miles per year. But nobody checks! We trailer our tii to events and the odometer doesn't move until we are on the track.
