The distributor number you posted is not the correct Bosch part number. It should be a 10 digit number, i.e. 0 231 xxx xxx.
The 74 Tii distributor 0 231 180 013 is a vacuum retard, not vacuum advance distributor.
Unleaded, premium fuel should be run in all BMW 2002s unless substantial performance modifications have been made. In that case, you should run unleaded race gas or a blend of unleaded race gas with premium unleaded pump gas.
