Get a complete airfilter box from an EARLY Datsun 240Z ....its a long oval shape, quite flat .
Make an adapter plate to fit your carbs that you can bolt and glue to the back/bottom of the Z-box after you've cut a corresponding hole .
Front of Zbox has an inlet that points nicely to front and misses alternator if you build the backing plate at the right angle.
