As I recall, halon extinguishers are recommended because if you ever actually have to use them, they don't make a horrible mess.: What are good sizes, types, and locations for extinguishers in the 2002? I don't need it to be prominently displayed like a racecar, just convenient to grab. I also don't want to scare the passengers by making thm look at an extinguisher for their whole ride.

: I currently have a small extinguisher (halon) that was sold by Black and Decker for kitchen use that I keep on the left side of the driver's seat behind the seat rail adjust lever, but it does not have a bracket.
