could this work, using a distributor cap from an eight cylinder engine (or whole distributor) to replicate alfa romeos twin spark to get better fuel burn and maybe more bhp?? i would use 1, 3, 5 & 7 as normal to fire befor tdc and 2, 4, 6 & 8 to fire either at 45 degrees after or 135 or 225, i would use the existing spark plugs but with two ht leads of each plug to the distributer cap. any advice appreciated (no micky taking please)
