Hi there. I posted a message similar to this a few days earlier. My shifter was making a grinding/vibrating noise that gets terribly loud at around 60 MPH in fourth gear. As advised, I checked the ttranny mounts and so fourth to find that nothing looked wrong. Everything seems to be in its place. What's more, I even took the car back to the guy who installed to SS kit a few months earlier to take a listen. As soon as I pulled in his driveway and we pulled out for a demonstrating ride, the horrid noise stopped all together! I felt like a complete idiot. I think my car was being a little spiteful. Anyway.....the fact that my motor mounts seem weak popped into my head. I havent' actually checked their integrity yet, but the engine jumps an aweful lot. Coulld the engine have moved out of line causing it's position onward to the tranny to be messed up? I'm gessing it's a possobility. Any thoughts on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
