I have the same problem. I put in a new shift kit and while sticking it in I noticed where the tranny output flange and quibo are just rubbing on the transmission-side mount for the shift lever platform. I replaced the motor mounts but that didn't work, the noise is still there. I am going to have a mechanic check to make sure the driveshaft is in line. I have been told that there is very little clearance between the quibo and the rear tranny housing in the first place. J.B.
