Tall Steve is right, you want both plugs to spark at the same instant. There's got to be ways to do this, it's a standard upgrade on old BMW airhead motorcycle engines. It's my understanding that it makes more power because you can run more advance without detonation or misfiring...

Finding a place for the second plug shouldn't be too tough, since the '02 head is a two-valve-per, the plug is already off to one side (not in the middle of the combustion chamber like a four-valve-per-cylinder head). Put the second plug opposite the first one. Of course, this means drilling and tapping the head, and missing the coolant passages and intake and exhaust ports. Might be quite difficult after all...
