This is a fairly common thing on sports cars and small sedans in England, the majority (and I believe the original) were made by (and possibly still may be - I know you can still get them new) a company called Webasto. Were put on everything from E Jags, Cortinas and Minis to Morris Minors. I've seen a picture of a Webasto-ized 02 somewhere, perhaps MacCartney's book.

You would probably want to look him up at Jaymic if interested, or buy one of the English classic car mags and search the commercial classifieds. It's just a matter of where to get the stuff from, I imagine any decent bodyshop could retrofit one, or any dedicated enthusiast with some time.
