The cams not quite that big but compression is 12:1. I'm still getting blown away on the straights by cars with smaller displacement engines and the same or smaller carbs. I was lapped twice at Pocono by a mazda miata in a 19 lap race. I could stay with him in the infields but he would just walk away on the straights. The carbs are probably 10 years old thats why I asked about the cleaning.
