I run 14x6 ROH wheels on mine with 195-60-14. It never rubs and handles great. I used to have BBS 13x6 wheels with 205-60-13, and they looked nice but I got a decent amount of rub in hard cornering and the car tended to understeer more. I attribute most of this to fact that I think my BBS's were off of a 320iS and the offset was wrong. For your car, you should be able to get a 14 or 15 inch wheel in 6,6.5, or 7 inch width. Proper offset is key, however - especially with the wider wheels. I believe the stock '02 offset is 24 or 25 mm. The E30's were something like 33 mm and the E21's were something like 13 mm. The E30 (except iX models) 14x6 and 14x6.5 alloys should work fine and they are pretty easy to find and since the offset is greater than stock, slight problems can usually be cured with a thin spacer.
