any 1600 purists out there who need an engine? i,m installing 2liter engine and trans into wifeys 69 1600. she has taken franz( pristine 71 02) hostage! says she wont return him til her car is done. any way, i'm selling the 1600 eng $ trans to help raise project funds. the eng is complete, 1bbl solex & intake, exhaust man & downpipe, dist, starter,alt,water pump & fan. the trans is noisey & second gear synchro is gone. the engine ran ok when pulled still mated together. i'll take $300 cash & carry. eugene or.
