Not an expert with wiring, but as a convention,
Bmw use the brown color for Ground wires.

I guess the green is a reference to wich circuit
it's connected.
If it's a later model, the two wires connect di-
rectly to the switch refered to the buzzer for
the seat belt or something like that.
