: I just bought a '75 2002 which has an air pump that is not currently hooked up, and a lot of the emision control tubing is rusted, corroded, broken, etc. Can I remove all of this and cap everything off at their origins? What would be the results of this? I am also having a problem with the car "lunging" when I have it in Drive and I have the breaks applied.. any ideas?

: thanks,

: Jason

If you don't need it for inspection, your better off without it, rumor has it that they run better sans emission controls..plus if its broken rusted missing etc..what good is it doing you on?
