'02 Amigos,
We love these cars because each is unique. We hate them sometimes for the same reason. Remeber my post a while ago regarding the missing exhaust braket on the end of the tranny? Well....Today while removing the cylinder head, I found the most disturbing thing... The exhaust manifold has a bracket on the back of it, attached to another that comes off the engine block!!!! It was impossible to get at the bolts that held it on with the head on and I squirmed and wrestled alll over the damned engine compartment trying to get at them!!! Finally got the nuts (and studs sometimes) and removed the manifold, then removed the head. Went back and could get at that damned bracket with a couple long extensions and a universal... PITA. Be warned, this was much harder to deal with than that mysterious bolt under the intake manifold!
