I know most of you recommend that a professional do the job but I'm bullheaded and decided to attempt it myself. I already have the windshield and gasket removed, but I was wondering if there is an easy way to remove all the crud left behind from the gasket. Also is it necessary to glue the new gasket in or apply glue where the glass seats? It seems logical, but I thought I'd make sure. What kind of glue would I use? Are the odds of doing this myself likely to result in a windshield that yet again leaks? Any experiences of doing it yourself with good results? Thanks for the help. -Jenny
