Corey,
As you may recall, I have the dual 44 Miks. I have settled on a idle of about 850. As I approach 1000, I get too much lope. Tachs don't work too well, but my hearing tells me the idle is set just slightly below what is "standard". It means I need to take an extra minute warming it up. Incidently, tiny timing changes on my car can make big differences in where I idle best. For weeks, I carried my 10mm wrenches and screwdriver, tweaking it till I got it smooth through the full power curve. As soon as I get it right it is time to change something and start over Have fun!
