: friday was a bad day, it started when my 15 year old daughter said she liked my 79 454 gmc stepside more than my recently aquired 76 02 and got worse. by the end of the day i was ready for a quick detour (very quick) down a twisty 2 lane on the way home, what a release, but the darn horn still wouldn't work.(thanx dwight for the info) the night before i fiddeled with all the relays but with no success. got in the car this morning for a donut run and the horn button was dangling lose, replaced it as i drove away and i'll be if the darn thing didn't start honking. seems i was testing it with the key off. who knew? either i fiddled with the right wire or someone or something snuk in in the middle of the night and fixed it for me.(i did forget to lock it and the button was dangling!)being a man of faith i prefer to beleive the latter. God is good and so is my BMW.
