Your headlights don't have relays for either circuit. Did you have power coming out on both pins of the dimmer switch. I believe 56a is for high beam and 56b is for low beam.
The H4's don't draw that much more than the originals to be any problem unless you are running high wattage ones (85 or 100). I've had H4's in my tii since about 1984 with no real problems.
