Since I got a couple of suggestions about which wiring route to take, decided to call my mechanic and get his opinion. He said running speaker wire down the passenger side next to the vapor and fuel return lines was OK because they didn't carry that much current. He warned against using sharp objects in lifting the carpet to protect the lines against punctures. He also added that it was easier to hide speaker wire bulges going this route instead of the transmission tunnel route.

Anyway, I ended up having ZN8.0 Streetwire by Esoteric Acoustics run down the passenger side. Now all I have to do is paint the fabricated face plate for my center console with SEM Texture Coating and put the console back together and in the car.

Thanks again for the advice!

Ron
