Scooter....I live up in Chico and man I know what
you mean about the rain....I am currently stopping
all the leaks in my 76 02...I just replaced the
rear wing window gaskets....also doors and front
and rear window weatherstripping....I had some
rust I repaired in back right foot area...I beleive it was caused by bad weatherstripping.
there are no vents...there are "plugs" under
rear seat about 2 " in dia. in front floor and
rear there are "plugs" about 6" in dia...I re
tar(undercoating) sealed mine...the best way to
find out whats up is to spend a day and remove
carpet(easier if it is one piece like mine).
That can help you with where water is coming from.
I had water via front and rear glass, thus rust
marks on fire wall and under rear seat...while
your in there is a good time to do some extra insulating...rear seat bottom comes out with a couple of screws on short vertical running board.
back of back seat comes out with 2 hex bolt/screws
at bottom of seat back...it takes 5 min's to remove..good luck..
