I don't know about kicking the trunk (I'm sure its a Zen thing)... I'd rather drill out the lock and then use a blade to turn and open. I can sell you a used lock with a key for $15.00 US including shipping. You can install it yourself in under 30 minutes.

Sorry that your car was broken into. It is quite a violation.

for the drill route:
: my car got broken into last night. i'm glad that the only thing they took was the cd deck and not the whole car. what i am not so happy about is that my locks have been punched through with screw drivers! the doors still open, but my trunk is no longer operable. can anybody give me advise on how to get the trunk open?
