Yeah,
The haynes manual is pretty useless, as well as a vintage clymer. They both indicate that there should be (2) wires. One black, One Green. The green going to the ignition switch, and the black to the distributor... It doesn't explain where the black goes beyond the distributor. NOr does it mention how the green joins up with another positive, and the green is also turned into a resistor wire for about 1/2 it's journey from the switch... I definitely think one of the blacks also runs the tach, however, the (2) positives has me baffled.
