The basic Weber 32/36 should be a direct replacement for the Solex 32/32 on intake manifolds I believe from 73 on. If you have a earlier '02 with a single barrel Solex, you need to get a used manifold from a '02 speciality parts house or the junkyard.

If you do need a "new" intake manifold, take the time to match the intake ports to the head and increase the opening size for the Weber. You can use the gaskets as a template. Just be VERY sure that you cleaned out all of the metal shavings and particles afterwards.

BTW, ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN DOING ANY METAL GRINDING! You can't drive without your eyes.
