: The basic Weber 32/36 should be a direct replacement for the Solex 32/32 on intake manifolds I believe from 73 on. If you have a earlier '02 with a single barrel Solex, you need to get a used manifold from a '02 speciality parts house or the junkyard.

: If you do need a "new" intake manifold, take the time to match the intake ports to the head and increase the opening size for the Weber. You can use the gaskets as a template. Just be VERY sure that you cleaned out all of the metal shavings and particles afterwards.

Here in Europe I think I as told the only cars they were fitted to were U.S. spec cars-does anyone know if it's the same as aeuro spec 316?
