Haven't used it on an '02 (non-tii) but did add some to the wife's car. It did smooth out the idle a little and slightly improved the gas mileage. I can only assume that it cleaned up the fuel flow through the injectors. You can buy the "official" BMW cleaner from the stealer but it costs twice as much and is essentially the same as the Redline S-1.

: was picking up a bottle of water wetter and found "redline si-1 complete fuel system cleaner" sitting next to it. wouldn't have given it a second thought except for redlines repution. on the back is specifically mentions bmw's. before i put this stuff in my car i was wondering if anyone had any experiencies (good or bad) with it. i have a 72tii. your answers are appreciated. tim
