: :they can be finicky and fickle, just like a woman, hence the reason i refer to my newly restored '73 as "she"(who has been in the family for 20 years). They are fairly easy to work on, beautiful to look at and even more fun to drive. Love her at take care of her and she will do the same. Welcome to the club, you can get alot of info from here, i know i have.
: '73 Malaga(used to be refered to by my hubby as the "purple turd", til he fell in love with her.....LOL)
Well, I got the car registered yesterday in
Texas and the last 3 letters of the non-personalized license plate are "JDY"
so I guess I will call "her" Judy!
According to some mechanics I've talked to
the Idle oscillation is PROBABLY the idle
mixture setting. The car was in Denver and
now its in Dallas so thats a 4500 ft alititde
I will probably go with the Recaros -- have
a lead on some refurbished ones from someone
who live in the Dallas area. STill need to
check on re-padding the stock seats, however.
Thanks for all the responses from everyone, BTW.
