Here's my take on these two things. Firstly, regarding headlights. I've had Hella H4's on every car that I could put them on as well as several pickups. They are by far superior to anything else I've seen. I drive in lots of crappy (snow, rain, etc...) weather, and live where it's fairly dark. I'm running 55/100 bulbs, and used the stock wiring in my '76. The stock relays in an older car may not handle the load, and may have to be upgraded.

Regarding the beeper. I had a "no honk" problem in the SoapDish, and around here, that's a pretty serious problem! So, I started as it turns out at the wrong end of the problem, replacing the Horn first. I went with a two tone Lucas horn which is very nice...
