Regardless of the brand of headlamps, your 73 does not have relays as part of the original wiring harness... bad. To prevent losing your headlamps when you upgrade, due to melt-down of the circuitry within the dip-switch(ask me how I know this!), you need to install an in-line relay in each individual headlamp circuit. Hella makes a all around relay that works well for this.

I have used both Hella and Marshall H4's. I think the Hella's throw a clearer light than the Marshalls, but the Marshall's have a better periferal pattern.

: Hey guys,

: Any advice on the following would be appreciated:

: 1. I want some really bright headlights for my '73 tii.
: What is considered the ultimate headlights for '02s?

: 2. I want a really powerful horn to replace the asthmatic
: stock unit. Suggestions? Sources?

: Thanks a lot! I'm getting psyched to take the car for a spin this coming weekend after several months of hibernation from the salt and slime!
