: Mine is very simple. It is just a piece of angle iron drilled to match the tranny holes. Then it was bent so that it is parallel to the exhaust header. Where it is parallel, it is affixed using an appropriately sized U clamp.
: Hope this helps. If done correctly, your header will become rigidly attached to tranny/motor combination, and any torqueing of the exhaust will happen after the outlet of the header.
: : I currently run a header with a stock resonator and muffler I bought from Zygmunt. My problem is I keep getting stress cracks at the bottom of header. The header is not new but is not a rusty piece of junk either. I welded up the leaks Someone suggested worn motor mounts so I changed them too. Now I have cracks once again. Has any one used top end strut brace and torque strap? Is it worth the money? I don't want to have to but another header but I'm getting high off the cracks.
