John,

Does your friend have a 2 or 4 door car? I own two 2-door 1600-2s (rear badge says "1600" though). The 1602 was the same thing, from '70-71 with the 2002 short-neck rear differential and 4-pot front calipers).

1600 is a 4-door, and just slightly larger than a 2002. It has framed door glass, different headlights and tailights. Same with the 2000 sedan.

Dave

: A friend of mine had a 1600 that he put in a 2.0. It had the swinging pedels and had no power brakes. I thought that's the way they all were but ???? Do you have a 1602? Is there a difference between 1602 and 1600?
