Concerning my newly acquired 74 Tii which is now
at my mechanics having several little things fixed.

I have a strong gas smell in the cabin which is
being caused by gas expansion tank having been moved
and remounted at a funny angle to make room for the
right stereo speaker. I need to have my mechanic
move the expansion tank back to its original
position but then the magnet from the speaker
is in the way.

What do people typically do to avoid this problem
with 2 rear-deck mounted speakers? I am even considering just putting in an original AM/FM
radio with single speaker in the center console.
The car is very original and I don't NEED the
AM/FM CD unit in there now and am almost to the
point of just going "retro" for originality's sake.
Along those lines, does anyone have an original
radio with speaker for sale????
