I also experience the sccrubing of the air filter
against the hood, My solution, I didn't secure
the hood.
Naturally, only when the car was parked,

I did install the oe filter housing with the
adapter from weiber, and you have to cut the
inside bottom of the housing, and there is
o lot of curves, and I did fix it with 4 longuer
allen screws from the inside of the housing.
If you go this way, why not add an other snorkel,
the tii filter have two!

As for the rocking of the engine, it was more
a matter of the motor telling me he was plain
tired.

Since the engine was jumping all over the engine
bay I did try an engine brace with an aluminium
braket, and it did break, and I then realise that
all the engine brace are fix to the aluminium
head, and all the torque of the engine is against
the head, making me worried at all the added
stress against the top of the engine.
