: OK, I just looked and the votes for Saturday vs. Sunday are split about even. To be fair, I think we should try to include the largest number of people possible - therefore, if any CANNOT, under any circumstances, make one of these two days, let me know here. This way we can figure out how to get the most cars & people out. Post something within the next couple days if you can't make one of the days and then we'll set a firm date, let's say by Tuesday.
: For those of you attempting to convince spouses and/or significant others who might be seeking less automotive activities, the town of Cold Spring, through which we will be passing, is quite nice and has several antique shops and other such things, though it may be a bit early in the season for them to be open. Wives/SOs could be dropped off there, or a general halt could be made for lunch/wandering around/sightseeing/etc.
: Also, just as a side note, I intend to handle all the discussion and information dissemination via this board. Private email just gets confusing, as someone might be inadvertently left out of the loop.
Any Sunday fine with me. Antique stores
open after 11:00AM in Cold Spring. Stretch of
Bear Mountain Pky. between Annsville Circle
and Bear Mountain Bridge (with scenic overlook)
I'm sure is already on your route. Keep posted.
