: Alan,
: In any case there should be two lines; the original hard plastic line which I believe runs from the tank inside the car and the metal "return line which runsunder the car and up to the engine on the driver's side. I know poeple like to use the metal return line with the electric pump. However, you should have two options at least to get it running. They shoulden't both be clogged!!

: : It ruptured a couple of months ago, and I replaced the whole section from the gas tank to the metal line left of the differential. (that's how I got gas in my eye...) I had no problems with the fuel system before I took the car down, but now that I have this electric pump in there the lines are dry as a bone. Its possible that some dirt or crud could have been pushed into the hose (now that the system "pushes" rather than "sucks.")metal section of the line I guess I'll pull it off tommorow and see if something got caught in there. can I send some cleaner or something down the metal line to clear it out? I wish it was as simple as Drain-O... Looking at that old hose after I took it off, I'm glad I did. 20 years of crap is scary, and you could barely see light through the thing. Thanks for your input, Dwight, you da man!
