: I just finished installing a new power booster on my '75 becuase I've had a problem with the brake pedal not coming all of the way back. I realized after disassembly that the main problem was the coupling that has the bolt running through it, that acts as the brake systems main pivotal point, was binding. My problem is how do you get that bolt out from the coupling? I tried everything I could think of with negitive results, although I did manage get the bolt to move about an 1/8th of an inch and was able to loosen it up a bit with generous amounts of white lithium grease but it appears to only be a quick fix. Any suggestions on a method of removing the bolt from the coupling????
Is there supposed to be fluid in the power booster. The old one was full of what appeared to be brake fluid.
