5 speeds throw out bearing (archive)

While looking at bimmers.com
I did remark that if you go for the 5 speeds conv.
and that you have the 228 pressure plate, you must
put a 323i throw out bearing.

Didn't the original 2002 bearing ( tii style) fit???
