The little bolt hold the cable via a little lip
at the end of the cable.

If you could have access to a Haynes book, there
was some illustrations on the subject.

The rod inside the cable is sqared , so when
reinstallation time arrive, you have to giggle
the cable so it goes all the way into his cavity.
Anyway you will understand when you will be there
