: I just finished installing used 240 Volvo calipers, new 320i discs...My brakes worked fine before, except for not very high stopping power. After bleeding the calipers w/ a one man bleeding kit, I still have no pedal. I can't find any noticable leaks. When changing the calipers most of the fluid leaked out. I tried to bleed the master cylinder through the 10mm bolt on top to no avail. should this fitting pass alot of fluid? It spit a tiny bit of fluid out. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Thanks,

Duane,
Check your calipers to ensure you have not accidently installed the left to right and right to left. A friend and I installed a big brake conversion on his 2002 and after 3 days of bleeding every way one can imagine, we called the people the kit was purchased from. Sure enough we had the calipers reversed. They bolted up perfectly, however because of the reversal the bleeding nipples, specifically the uppermost nipple, was now placed on the lowest position of the caliper. In this position it was virtually impossible to bleed the air from out of the caliper. Just a thought.
