2002 TURBO value? (archive)

I have a chance to buy a (real) 2002 Turbo in Austria and I would like to know a current ballpark value for 02 Turbos in good to excellent shape. I would also like to know if anyone has purchased a used BMW (or any car) from Germany/Austria and how they had it shipped to the U.S.A.(mid-west). Any information on shipping, importing, the expenses incurred or whom I could contact for this type of service would be greatly appreciated. I have someone in Austria that I can trust and fortunately they also know the car and the owner.
This is a low kilometer, never driven in winter, no rust, no accident, one owner, well maintained, silver '74 2002 Turbo. I know, it sounds too good to be true and that's my problem. I don't want the excitement of this find to blind me into paying way more than what it's really worth so please any opinions or comments would greatly help me. Thanks.

I've always owned 2002s since the mid 70's and currently own a '72 2002 and a '73 2002 Tii. I have always wanted a 2002 Turbo so I don't want to do something stupid and pay way too much for the car and find out that I have to pay a small fortune to get the car shipped here too. Thanks again for any help, and or, a reality check.
