: I have a chance to buy a (real) 2002 Turbo in Austria and I would like to know a current ballpark value for 02 Turbos in good to excellent shape. I would also like to know if anyone has purchased a used BMW (or any car) from Germany/Austria and how they had it shipped to the U.S.A.(mid-west). Any information on shipping, importing, the expenses incurred or whom I could contact for this type of service would be greatly appreciated. I have someone in Austria that I can trust and fortunately they also know the car and the owner.
: This is a low kilometer, never driven in winter, no rust, no accident, one owner, well maintained, silver '74 2002 Turbo. I know, it sounds too good to be true and that's my problem. I don't want the excitement of this find to blind me into paying way more than what it's really worth so please any opinions or comments would greatly help me. Thanks.

: I've always owned 2002s since the mid 70's and currently own a '72 2002 and a '73 2002 Tii. I have always wanted a 2002 Turbo so I don't want to do something stupid and pay way too much for the car and find out that I have to pay a small fortune to get the car shipped here too. Thanks again for any help, and or, a reality check.
