tii calipers: dust seals/clips -- HELP! (archive)

OK, I replaced O-rings, got everything cleaned out, refit pistons...but I can't get the damned dust boot clipped onto the caliper. New seal too tight to stay on while I spread the ring and pressit on. Any advice? Am I lacking some "special BMW tool", or just ability? Thanks in advance.

Buying rebuilt looks like the smart play next time.
