: Can get boxed end wrench on nut at top but can't get socket or wrench on bolt head.
Harvey -- Your 72 tii may be different from my 74 2002, but for what it's worth, I encountered a similar problem. My stablizer bar bushing assembly was set up so the nut was on top, and the bolt head (which is a hex-type bolt) was on the bottom. I managed to get a box wrench on the nut. Then I took a hex bit and turned the bolt head from the bottom, instead of turning the nut (I usually try to avoid doing it this way, but I had no choice). Worked like a charm.
Again, your tii may have a different setup.
Incidentally, when reassembling the bushing bracket, I found that a solid flat-head screwdriver provided some much-needed "persuasion" to get everything lined up right.
Hope this helps.
