Rear Brakes bottom "W" spring correct placement? (archive)

I got it back on (miracle) but since I disassembled both sides weeks ago (dumb, I know) I no longer have an example to go by. Question- the "A"-shaped tab with notch that holds the big "W" shaped bottom spring- is it correct if the spring sits centered and behind the tab? It looks good but there really didn't seem to be any mechanical snap or lock in.
Any help appreciated -
